I have no homework~  So I'm gonna finish an APH coloring I've been working on for the past week, at least =_=  Stupid summer homework getting in my way...

Hn. I have some pictures but I haven't taken pictures of them on my phone and they're not that great anyway...

For some reason IB juniors and seniors didn't get band for two periods on their schedules this year. I think it's required for some reason that they take some kind of special IB course this year, but it's never been an issue with band... And since no one really likes band that much anyway (it takes too much time away from homework) several of them are using it as an excuse to quit. My best friend is friends with a lot of the older kids, but I'm not because I'm too shy around them >_< and when she found out they were leaving she got really upset... She just said she was tired and wouldn't talk. She wouldn't text much, either. She'll be fine; it just has to sink in and then she'll be back to normal... (We've been best friends since kindergarten.)

Death paragraph... Yes, I like death. But only fictional death, not in real life. In Sunday school when we were doing prayer requests, one of the girls from my old school mentoned one of the flute players in the band. (I know her, but I'm keeping her anonymous.) We weren't exactly friends, but we did have several classes together and she was really sweet. Apparently one of her good friends had died at her house a few days before. She'd come over to the flute player's house to go swimming, and as she was getting out of the water, a blood clot in her leg burst and she died quickly. There had been a nurse in the pool with them and the paramedics had arrived in four minutes, but they couldn't do anything to save her. It was really sad. My dad said that even if they'd gotten her to the hospital, she probably would have died, anyway. Blood clots are unpredictable and difficult to prevent.

Also, on the 12th, the flute player's mom died. (Please keep in mind that the girl is only 15.) I'm not sure exactly what happened to her mom, but I do know that she had to go get surgery and the doctors accidentally nicked her heart in the process. It caused all kinds of problems, and it killed her not long ago. It's terrible... This girl lost two people who were very important to her in the same week. I don't know her very well, but still. The pain is unimaginable.

No LJ-cut this time. It doesn't seem right, for some reason.
